St Mark's Autumn retreat

Clare Priory • Saturday 21st October  • 10am to 4pm

Come away for a few hours, and join us in the beautiful surroundings of Clare Priory.

We will consider the links between poetry and prayer, and explore some ways in which poems can help us become more attuned to God’s presence. There will be time for listening, reading and discussion as well as time for quiet reflection and creative exploration.
 
Cost £30 per person, to include a simple lunch, coffee and tea

Easter at King's: Sequence of Poetry and Music

13th April, 6–7pm in King's College Chapel

Admittedly this is not what you'd think of as a retreat, but I think the effects might be similar – and it includes me reading one of my poems.  Part of the Easter at King's Festival, 'Betrayal and Devotion' offers a rich, stimulating mix of music, poetry and also art, both traditional and contemporary.
